GCG designs and manufactures reliable, robust, high-performance electronic components and subassemblies for use in demanding applications in military, aerospace, medical and communication systems around the world. With particular expertise in magnetics and filters, GCG has a unique combination of product breadth, custom-design capabilities, proprietary equipment, in-house environmental testing and multiple facilities, all located in the United States. With 170,000 sq.ft. of manufacturing/engineering space spread over 6 locations across the country, GCG is disaster-plan qualified. Nearly 8,000 sq.ft. of machining space, including in-house transfer molding capability, provides quick turnaround of prototypes. This combined with other aspects of vertical integration helps GCG to streamline its operations and manage process flow, thereby reducing time to market for its customers.
GCG’s Magnetic Division consists of Gowanda Electronics, DYCO Electronics, Butler Winding, Communication Coil, HiSonic, and Gowanda REM-tronics. Products include RF inductors, power inductors, broadband conicals, magnetic components & assemblies, transformers, coils, chokes, baluns and planar & toroidal designs. Capabilities include standard & OEM-custom designs, military standards & QPL designs for high-reliability applications and non-magnetic designs for medical applications.
GCG’s Filters Division consists of TTE Filters, Microwave Circuits and Instec Filters. Products include standard & custom passive RF filters, microwave filters, bias tees, diplexers, triplexers, multiplexers, equalizers and EMI/RFI filters. Most products are provided with short turnaround time; several designs available from stock.
