iNRCORE is a premier supplier of high-reliability products including magnetics and other electronic components for use in power management, signal conditioning and data transmission solutions across a multitude of demanding applications. GCG’s high-performance product portfolio complements and augments iNRCORE’s offerings, so the partnership will enhance the breadth and depth of electronic components provided to the marketplace. GCG and its legacy brands, representing inductors, transformers, filters, resistors and custom magnetics, will continue to operate as subsidiaries of iNRCORE.
In November, “Medical Product Outsourcing” expanded coverage of Gowanda and its role in addressing electronic component design challenges for the medical device industry. Gowanda’s ISO 13485 certification, vertical integration strategy and ‘no design obsolescence’ approach are discussed.
Gowanda is pleased to announce the completion of a nearly 50% expansion at its DYCO Electronics facility in Hornell, New York. The 12,000 sq. ft. expansion will help the company address market demand for its products (including custom components and assemblies for the rail industry), enhance work flow and improve operational efficiency.
Gowanda was contacted by “Medical Product Outsourcing” magazine to provide insight on factors, trends and challenges in the design of custom electronic components for medical product applications. The need for truly non-magnetic inductors is discussed in the resultant September 2020 article along with Gowanda’s solution to that and other challenges. We’ve posted a link to the complete article.
RCD Components, an affiliate of GCG, announces the hiring of Gerald Brimmer as its new President and General Manager. Jerry brings strong engineering and business skills to the position along with over 30 years in the electronics manufacturing arena. The RCD team in Manchester, New Hampshire is happy to have him on board!
TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now an authorized North American distributor of Gowanda’s inductors and chokes for RF, microwave and power applications. “The depth and breadth of TTI’s distribution network will assure that Gowanda’s high performance inductors are readily-available to electronic engineers designing next-generation products for industrial, military and medical applications around the world,” said Don McElheny.
RCD’s resistors, capacitors, coils and delay lines augment GCG’s inductor offerings. The acquisition also expands the company’s design capabilities and manufacturing facilities thereby enhancing GCG’s ability to address board level design challenges in the global electronics marketplace. There are now ten affiliates in the Gowanda Components Group.
New Surface Mount and Flying Lead Configurations Enhance Utility.
New C102FL, C102SM, C182FL and C182SM conical series address need of global electronics design community for more high performance RF broadband component options in communication applications.
Contract manufacturer of high-reliability products will operate as “Gowanda REM-tronics”.
It will maintain operations in Dunkirk, NY, bringing the total number of GCG production facilities to six, across the United States. There are now nine affiliates in the Gowanda Components Group.
Gowanda’s flying lead design provides highest DC current handling capability in the industry.
The 4 new series – C305FL, C550FL, C750FL and C1000FL – offer performance ranges for inductance from 0.30 µH to 22 µH, Q from 30 to 66, DCR ohms from 0.02 to 0.265 and current rating mA DC from 1300 to 10500. These series will be featured at the 2019 Optical Networking and Communication Conference in San Diego, March 5 to 7. Stop by Gowanda’s booth #5417 for more information.
