Circuit Type Impacts Switch Mode Transformer Design
A switched-mode power supply is an electronic power supply unit that incorporates a switching regulator in order to provide the required output voltage. A switch mode transformer is used in conjunction with the switching regulator to form a switch mode power supply. The design of the transformer depends on the type of circuit utilized. Circuit types include Buck, Flyback and Boost.
RCD Components Joins GCG
GCG is pleased to announce the acquisition of RCD Components, a manufacturer of passive devices – including resistors, capacitors, coils and delay lines – for military, aerospace and commercial industries, located in Manchester, New Hampshire. There are now ten affiliates in the GCG family and eight design and manufacturing facilities within the US.
