Gowanda Expands Passive Offerings with Acquisition of RCD Components
RCD’s resistors, capacitors, coils and delay lines augment GCG’s inductor offerings. The acquisition also expands the company’s design capabilities and manufacturing facilities thereby enhancing GCG’s ability to address board level design challenges in the global electronics marketplace. There are now ten affiliates in the Gowanda Components Group.
Gowanda Expands Capabilities with Addition of REM-tronics
Contract manufacturer of high-reliability products will operate as “Gowanda REM-tronics”.
It will maintain operations in Dunkirk, NY, bringing the total number of GCG production facilities to six, across the United States. There are now nine affiliates in the Gowanda Components Group.

This enables GCG to offer a broader range of innovative inductor and transformer solutions to the design community.

Dyco Electronics Acquired by Gowanda – Featured at APEC Show
GCG expands its magnetic component capabilities by acquiring Dyco Electronics in Hornell, NY.
Dyco will be featured at Gowanda’s booth #310 during APEC 2017, the applied power electronics conference being held March 27-29 in Tampa, FL. “Dyco’s expertise with laminated transformers, planar transformers and specialized solutions will enhance GCG’s ability to address the toughest challenges facing design engineers in the global markets we serve,” said GCG CEO Don McElheny.
